Who we are

This website is operated by Soap & Butter. Our website address is https://www.soapandbutter.com.

What we collect

If you join our mailing list we store your email address and the country you were browsing in, and email you a link to confirm. We only send newsletters once you have confirmed, and every email has an unsubscribe link. If you use the contact form we keep your name, email address and message so we can reply. We do not sell products on this site, so we never collect payment details. You do not need an account to use the site.

Your country choice is remembered in your own browser only, so the right retailers are shown next time.

Embedded content and retailers

This site shows posts from our Instagram account, a map of stores drawn with map tiles from OpenFreeMap, and links to retailers such as SPAR, Takealot and Amazon. Those services have their own privacy policies and may collect data about you when you load their content or visit their sites.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, or unsubscribe from our emails, at any time by writing to Support@SoapandButter.com.
